The mission of the Course is to provide our students with the highest quality education in the science and practice of acupuncture. Our experienced faculty is able to bridge the gap between modern scientific concepts of health and human disease with ancient Chinese principles of medicine. Our students learn an effective style of acupuncture that can be successfully integrated into a conventional medical practice. We emphasize the value of a point verification system—in that the points used for treatment are verifiable by their immediate effect on patient symptoms and exam findings. The methods and techniques we teach have been filtered through thousands of hours of practical use on patients in a clinical setting to ensure that the concepts taught work. Our goal is to stimulate clinical discussion and promote research development of acupuncture methods as students adapt and apply these approaches to their unique practice settings.
We are committed to providing graduates of our course the opportunity for advanced study and continued mentoring in point verification systems of acupuncture and related therapies. Advanced study opportunities are offered in collaboration with the University of New England, College of Osteopathy, the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and our international partner, the German Medical Acupuncture Association, DÄGfa.
We provide students with the chance to learn acupuncture skills from experts around the world. Our course is led by instructors from the United States, Europe, and Central and South America who are recognized authorities in their fields, with decades of acupuncture practice and teaching experience.
